	Degas House B&B New Orleans	Order a painting or commission:
		• To order a painting, the best way is to call. You will need to provide your contact information (email and phone #). Normally, after receiving your working photos, it takes about 7 days to complete the painting, shipping time usually adds 2-5 days. If you have a deadline, every effort will be made to meet your requirements. • If you prefer, you may order your painting by email, along with your Attached digital photos.
		Payment:
		• Personal Check, VISA, MASTERCARD,AMEX,Discover. Please provide your card # when placing your order. • Your card will not be charged until the order is shipped.
Shipping:
• Normally the artwork is shipped USPS-Priority Mail in a 3" diameter tube. Matted and framed art is shipped in a flat box. FedEx or UPS is available at your request. Shipping and insurance is an additional $7. • Please provide your email address for notification of when artwork is shipped.
Guarantee:
• It is very important that you are happy with your artwork and if you are not pleased, you may return the artwork for a refund.
Your "working photos."
• After a commission is received, the first step is to print all the photos that were sent. It is important that I get qood photos that show all of the important details. The more photos, the better. • Digital cameras have "Picture Quality" settings and I request that you adjust the settings so that the photos you take are in the "mid-range" of your available choice of settings. Please avoid any photo setting for an image size of 640x480 pixels (the smallest size). Choose a larger size and avoid any setting associated with "Economy". • The optimum file size of your photos should be approximately 800K or higher with 380K as the minimum and 1.5MB as the maximum. Of course, these digital photos can be emailed as Attachments. • For standard chemical-based photographs, it is best that you do not use the "throw-away" disposable cameras. Since the lens is made of plastic and about the size of a pencil eraser, photos taken with these cameras are only marginally useful. If you have a standard camera that is not a disposable camera, the photos most likely will be fine and provide the necessary details. You may mail these photos to me and they will be returned when the artwork is shipped. • In Miami-Dade County, I can take the photos for you for an additional charge of $20.
CD & scans
• •• A CD with a scan of your art is available for $10 (11x14" and 12x16" frame size). The 16x20" frame size requires 2 scans (combined) and is $20. The format is .tif or .psd -photoshop at your request.
